Market checking as well as  Naka observed at Bhatyas, Malikpura, Polie and Chilli Market, Rs 5000 realised from violators for not wearing face masks

Jammu 17 Jul:...... On the direction of DC Doda and in the  supervision of SDM Bhalessa a team of officials including Nodal Officer COVID 19 Management Chilli Pingal Tasleem Javaid KAS, Naib Tehsildar Jakyas Mohd Hussain Khan, Supervisor COVID 19 Ratan Singh and officials from JandK Police deployed by SDPO Gandoh Nawaz Khanday conducted a market checking  as well as  checking of all those vehicles entering Bhatyas.

The main focus of the checking was whether the people are following SOPs related to COVID 19 or not. A fine of Rs 5000 imposed on erring shopkeepers,Drivers, passengers for not wearing face masks at public places. Vehicles were checked whether the drivers are picking a set number of passengers and if they are following the guidelines. 

Furthermore, all the shopkeepers as well as drivers were also further warned of stringent legal action , if they were found violating the SOPs related to COVID 19 like social distancing, not wearing face masks and other mandatory directions issued by Distt Administration from time to time.

Pertinent to mention here that DC Doda has directed the local administration to ensure hundred percent coverage of people wearing face masks so as to ensure their safety  throughout the whole District.
