Bunjwah villages faces scarcity of safe drinking water, Local alleged that Jal Shakti Department is only in papers in Bunjwah,
 

BUNJWAH 17 Feb ..................... The general public of Bunjwah alleged that Jal shakti Department is only in papers as no existence came to be seen on ground in remote and far-off villages of Tehsil Bunjwah.
Despite tall claim made by department in providing hassle free water supply in remote villages of Bunjwah, the reality differs to its friction as such things vows only in papers and no improvement came to be seen on ground.
 Inhabitants of remote villages of Bunjwah while talking to correspondent informed that villages including Kither, Know, Buddhar, Akhwah, Misley, Dehni Pattan, Patnazi, Nali,Chakroon, Qurar, Surunga, Mori, and various other regions  are facing scarcity of safe drinking wate since long despite the matter was hundred times brought into the notice of concerned authorities from time to time and during Block Diwas programmes.
The densely populated villages have flayed the authorities for not make efforts for addressing acute shortage of drinking water as they have to fetch water from 4 km from a spring, nallahs for daily use and even for cattles. 
Ashiq Wani, A renowned Social Activist while talking to correspondent said that during Block Diwas function held at tehsil Headquarter Bunjwah, We have seen the JE of Jal Shakti Department and after that He did not bothered to visit Bunjwah to access the scarcity of safe drinking water across Bunjwah villages. Adding that the matter was brought into the notice of Tehsildar Bunjwah, he assured that priority basis directions has been passed to concerned JE to visit across the villages of Bunjwah and intimate the office at an earliest.
It is important to mention that lacs of rupees have been withdrawn for installation of new pipelines, restoration and maintenance of old and damaged pipelines but unfortunately not a single penny is utilised for the same.
Public of Bunjwah seeks intervention of DDC Kishtwar to personally look into the matter and direct concerned department for early maintenance and restoration of old pipelines soas public shall take sigh of relief.
