Public holds protest demonstration against BDO Bunjwah, Alleged Pick and Choose manner in disbursement of payment

BUNJWAH 18 Feb: ___ The general public of Bunjwah holds protest demonstration against Block Development Officer Bunjwah regarding pick and choose manner in disbursement of payment. The public alleged that they have been denied from the payment under various heads including Skilled, Semi-Skilled, Material procured, IHHL and various others.

While addressing the protestors, Mohd Iqbal Keen alleged the pick and choose manner in disbursement of payment to deserving job card holders and others who have constructed IHHL units. Adding that the Sarpanches are making payment of material procured on name of their close relatives and some blue-eyed persons.

Mr. Keen further added that there is huge bungling in payment made on account of material and skilled and even the payment made on account of IHHL units is ignoring the deserved beside the open nexus is running in the office.

Another resident of Patnazi A, Mohd Yousuf, alleged that some close associates of sarpanches are getting hefty amount without performing any work on ground. Adding that the payment made on IHHL units needs to be enquired through physical and transparent manner soas the deserving shall take sigh of relief.

The public of Bunjwah sought intervention of District Development Commissioner Kishtwar to personally intervene in this matter and take stern action against officers involved in running of the whole nexus.
