Regular offline classes of MBBS started in GMC Doda with Hippocratic oath to students of first batch.

Doda, February 1, With great enthusiasm offline classes of 1st yr MBBS  started in the Makeshift College Campus Government Medical College Doda  today the 1st February . The ceremony started  with administering  Hippocratic oath to students by Coordinator Medical education Unit.  Oath ceremony was  followed by Address by the Principal Dr Tariq Parvez Azad and other senior Faculty members, wherein  students were made aware about their responsibilities. Later on regular class work started in various preclinical departments as per time table.

  During last few days 100 students of which 50 were female, arrived here from various parts of the state. Out of these 95% of students (barring few locals) opted for hostel facilities as against the MCI limit of 60%. Doda being a far flung area with limited accommodation available majority of students opted for the hostel . Separate arrangements for Makeshift Hostel for Boys and Girls Hostel facilities have been arranged  in Hotel Doda Darbar and Doda  Darbar Guest House. College administration made all effort to provide best and comfortable  accommodation to students, Students also appreciated the college administration for their help and assistance rendered to students.
