*STAFF OF ZONAL EDUCATION OFFICER ASSAR ORGANIZED A GRAND FAREWELL PARTY FOR RETIRING ZEO HARBANS LAL SAWHNEY ON HIS SUPERANNUATION AT GHSS ASSAR.*

 

Doda: 01 Feb....... A grand farewell party was organized by the staff of Zonal Education Officer Assar in the honour of H L Sawhney, the ZEO who is superannuating on 31 January 2021 after rendering his impeccable service to the department.The farewell party was attended by Chief Education Officer Doda Sh Tariq Hussain, DEPO Doda, Mohd Ayaz Iqbal Mughal, Principals of various Higher Sec Schools, Zonal Education Officers, Ex. Education Officers Tehsildar Assar, Treasury Officer Assar, Manager JKB Assar and staff members of the zone who praised and lauded the services of officer who has left an indelible impression of positive change in the administration management and overall functioning of the department under his control with sheer hard work and determination. The officer was described to be asset to the department whose proposals and suggestions were valued by his superiors and welcomed by the stakeholders as they were always in the interest of the student community. The speakers on this occasion highlighted the positive steps initiated by him during his tenure in the zone. During his tenure the zone achieved highest number of nomination of students for INSPIRE award. Mr Sawhney used to keep eagle eye on all the schemes and programmes for implementation in the zone and utilized the services of staff as per their skill and temperament to bring about maximum output, which is a great learning experience and inspiration for all. The skill of the officer to gel with his staff in the Department helped him to achieve positive work culture in the zone "We have worked as Left and right arms of the department and he has always been committed and dedicated to the cause" said Chief Education Officer Doda and wished him healthy and fulfilling post retirement life. 

Mr Sawhney when spoke on the dice and narrated his brief service history. The officer thanked Almighty Allah for granting opportunity to life and service and remembered the role of his parents in nurturing and educating him with their meagre resources. He narrated that he was appointed as teacher initially, then with some promotions he served as Master, Headmaster and then ZEO Assar, Ramban, Mahanpur then again ZEO Assar. He praised the services of all the staff members for facilitating the works of the department and wished them all the best in their future endeavours and requested them to remember him in their prayers. Headmaster GHS Baggar Sh Ghulam Nabi presented the vote of thanks at the end.

The Programme was arranged by the staff members of ZEO Office Assar with special efforts of Ravinder Singh Charak, Avinash Megwan, Ashaq Jaral, Susheel Kumar, Lekh Raj, Imtiaz Ahmed, Aejaz Ahmed and others. Programme was attended by teachers from whole zone including Marmat.
