Srinagar, August 30, 2021

Writer, social activist and President of Aalmi Tahreek e Urdu Dr Zakir Malik Bhallesi has received Bharat Gaurav Puruskar – 2021 for his outstanding contribution in promotion of Urdu language.

The prestigious award was received today at Srinagar from Dr Shahid Iqbal (IAS), Chief Executive Officer, J&K Mission Youth and Commissioner, Government of Jammu & Kashmir. The award was presented to Dr Zakir Malik Bhallesi in virtual award ceremony held at New Delhi by Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India approved KTK Foundation, New Delhi and the same was handed over to him today by CEO, Mission Youth, J&K. A total of 67 people from all over India received this award in different categories. Dr. Malik is only recipient of this award from Jammu & Kashmir.   

Dr. Zakir Malik Bhallesi is President of Aalmi Tahreek e Urdu. He has authored 4 Books in Urdu language and compiled 8 Books in English language besides published 300 articles in national and international journals / Newspapers. He has already received 20 awards including prestigious Asian Education Award-2020 for his book Danish Gah, Star India Award, UN 75 Award and Urdu Ambassador Awards.

Congratulating Dr Zakir Malik Bhallesi for prestigious Bharat Gaurav Puruskar 2021, Dr Shahid Iqbal , (IAS), Chief Executive Officer, J&K Mission Youth and Commissioner Tribal Affairs, Government of Jammu & Kashmir said that Dr Zakir Malik Bhallesi is well deserved for this award as he has contributed a lot for the society and particularly for promotion of Urdu language. He appreciated Dr Malik for his positive approach and overall contribution for society. He pressed upon youth to utilize their minds for positive things.
