Excise sleuths destroy marijuana in and around kishtwar town 

Kishtwar 04 Aug :_______ The sleuths of excise department destroyed the plantation of marijuana in kishtwar town after hectic and rigorous efforts. The team had identified the spots after a series of feild visits and identifying the hot spots where the plantation has reached a gargantuan quantity.

The sleuths of excise department led by inspector Towseef Wani set in motion the annihilation in the wee hours which continued till late evening owing to the fact that it lacks the feild staff to cater to such a large geographical areas spread over pastures, mountains and creeky paths.

The team has appealed the general public to inform the department of any addictive or illegal activity in their vicinity to collectively fight the menace of drug abuse and hooch trade in the district.

The people have appreciated the role of excise team for prompt action and vigilance over any deliquent act of illegal trade and drug abuse control.
