SHAHEEN Trust provides sewing machines to widows, Bids warm farewell to outgoing Indian Army Head
JAMMU 25 Dec:_________ SHAHEEN Trust launched a program “SHAHEEN Rozgar” from Akhyarpur Jakyas in which they provided sewing machines to six widows namely Anita Devi wdo of Ramesh Kumar, Sumitra Devi wdo of Ranjeet Singh, Bebi Begum wdo of Talib Hussain, Shamema Begum wdo of Imtiaz Hussain, Naveeda Begum wdo Ishtiaq Hussain, Anita Devi wdo of Daljeet Kumar and all belong from different villages of Tehsil Chilli Pingal.
In the same program, SHAHEEN Trust bids adieu to outgoing Indian Army Major Sidharth and welcomes new Major Amit. President SHAHEEN Trust Touseef Malik while speaking on the occasion said that the Trust started helping needy people on different occasions with aid like ration, clothes, etc but this is not a permanent solution to end the miseries of poors, so the Executive Body of the trust come up with this program “SHAHEEN Rozgar”. This will help beneficiaries in earning a livelihood and more such initiatives will be taken by Trust in the future.
He further said that there are so many schemes launched by Govt for the people in different sectors including self-employment, agriculture, health, education, etc so people should come forward to take benefit of these schemes. He also praised the tenure of Indian Army Major Sidharth he has given in Bhalessa and contributed in different ways for the welfare of people and made his tenure memorable and expect the same from new Major Amit who joined recently. The Chief Guest of the program was Dr. Farhat Malik MO NTPHC Jakyas and Stage Secretary/Prog Host was Shabir Sheikh.
Different guests who attended the program and appreciated the efforts and initiatives of SHAHEEN Trust include Mohd Ishaq Aarif, Younes Rashid Malik, and Shahdin Naik besides Chief Guest Dr. Farhat, Guest of Honour Major Sidharth, and Major Amit who also appreciated the initiative of Trust in their speeches.
