Deputy Commissioner (DC) Kishtwar, Dr. Devansh Yadav (IAS) today paid an extensive tour of Nagseni area and took stock of the progress of Civil works and ongoing projects of Keru Hydro-electric Power Project.
He was accompanied by ACR Kishtwar Varunjeet Singh Charak,ACD Kishtwar Atul Dutt Sharma,HOP Keru Project Rajinder Prasad,GM CVPP Rakesh Dubey,Project Manager Patil Eng. Ltd. Ramesh Thakur, AGM Rishi Sharma, Tehsil Nagseni Majid Jahangir,BDO Nagseni Anjil Singh besides other Concerned.
During the visit, DC inspected Public Health Centre (PHC) Keru and took stock of Medicare facilities available for patients there besides inspected each section and took stock of the infrastructural needs.
He also checked the Out patient register, medicine store and gynae ward, there.
Meanwhile he gave necessary instructions to the concerned authorities for the streamlining of public healthcare services in the area so that locals/ patients feel no inconvience.
He also directed ACR Kishtwar to submitt the estimates under the R&R plan of Keru HEP so that the infrastructure and allied logistic needs in the PHC could be meet out in time bound manner.
Later, he visited Keru Hydro-electric Power Project site at Nagseni and conducted an interactive meeting with Project authorities and reviewed the progress as per the timelines of various projects undertaken by Keru HEP authorities.
Various issues and bottlenecks besides the salient features of the project were threadbare discussed in the meeting.
He stressed to focus on the effective and timely implementation of Resettlement and Rehabilitation (R&R) plan of the Keru HEP so that the Project Affecting Families are benefited at the earliest.
He also visited the various work sites and was apprised about the layout plan of these works by concerned authorities present there.
He stressed them to fix the timeline so that these projects which are of national importance can be completed in stipulated time and add to the Power generating capacity of UT.
Enroute, he also inspected the RDD works including Soak pits in panchayat Bhagna-B.
He directed the officials to adhere to the guidelines of the govt in these works and make initiative a grand success.
Earlier, DC kishtwar also visited Main District Hospital Kishtwar and took stock of functioning and Medicare facilities being provided to patients there.
During the visit, the DC inspected various wards and sections of the hospital and took stock of their functioning.He also enquired about the availability of medicines, diagnostics and other facilities available in the hospital and services being provided to patients at the hospital.
During the visit,he was briefed by Medical Superintendent DH Kishtwar Dr Javeida Qazi about the staff position and functioning of the District Hospital Kishtwar.
The DC directed the hospital administration to maintain complete hygiene in and around the hospital as per SOPs and provide better medical care facilities to the patients without any fail.
He also stressed for proper utilization of human resources and to serve the patients with utmost dedication and sincerity.
Meanwhile DC Kishtwar directed the MS District Hospital Kishtwar to shift to digital reporting formats in laboratory diagnostic and radiology (ultrasound/X-Ray/CT Scan) reports.
Besides he instructed the concerned to identify space for private wards to improve inpatient services and utilise existing buildings spaces.
CMO Kishtwar Dr Chander Prakash apprised him about the status of number of ambulance available in the District and achievements made under the Ayushman Bharat card registration.
DC Kishtwar directed CMO to expedite the work of completing formalities and make the newly received ambulances ply on road for the convenience of patients immediately.
