*Youth Services & Sports Department Kishtwar organises IZDL Athletic meet for U-14, U-17 & U-19 Boys and Girls*

Kishtwar,17th 2022.

An Inter Zonal District Level Athletic meet was organized by the Department of Youth Services & Sports (YSS) Kishtwar under the patronage of the  Director Youth Services & Sports  Subash Chader Chibber (JKAS) & Joint Director Youth Services & Sports Jammu  Atul Kumar.

The event was inaugurated by  Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar Dr Devansh Yadav (IAS) ,who was the chief guest on the occasion, here at Chowgan Ground Kishtwar.

Speaking on the occasion DC Kishtwar advised the participating students to maintain good team work, cooperation and coordination while participating in any sports matches or competitions.

He said that these skills learned during the  sports activities also helps  in various phases of  life, like in academics or future career.

On the occasion, the Pledge ceremony against drug abuse was administered by Deputy Commissioner Kishtwar to the participants and teachers  under the banner of Nasha Mukt Bharat.

Meanwhile scores of Departmental officials were deputed for the successful conduct of the field and track events.Boys and Girl athletes of U-14,U-17 & U-19 age group categories participated in the field and track events of the meet.

A good number of students from Government and private schools of all Five Zones of District  Kishtwar participated in the mega event.Throwing & jumping events were also organized in this mega event.
