Global Peace Foundation represents J&K in the   parliamentary standing committees on the empowerment of women 


Jammu:------.        The high-powered Parliamentary Committee on Empowerment of Women led by more than thirty parliamentarians drawn from Lok Sabha and Rajya Sabha visited Jammu and Kashmir from 15th September to 18th September. The committee took a review of all the projects and their performance in the last few years and the future growth.

Global Peace Foundation, a known name in the field of philanthropy represented Jammu and Kashmir along with all the representatives of different departments through its Founder President Junaid Malik.
The committee took detailed representation from the social welfare department, Skill India, and other directorates of all parent departments who are working on the empowerment of women and child welfare under Minn Shakti.

The Honorable Chairperson and members conducted deliberation, and question-answer sessions to know the progress made under centrally sponsored schemes under the Ministry of Social Justice and skill development personally seen under the direct supervision of honorable PM Narendra Modi.

Mr. Malik gave a power presentation on all the initiatives undertaken by the Global Peace Foundation so far for the welfare of women under its theme "empowering women, empowering nation" and mission Vaisalya. The committee gave a patient hearing to the PPT and had a word of praise for the greater mission of nation-building undertaken by the foundation.

The study tour of the parliamentary committee listened to the success stories of the women who are trained by the mission and impressed upon the stakeholders to gear up for further programs and targets of the ministry.
